We offer onsite Zoledronic Acid (Aclasta) infusions which is a treatment for Osteoporosis & Pagets Disease of Bone.  This is available for patients seeing one of the Endocrinologists at our clinic but is also available to patients of Doctors who see patients elsewhere and refer patients specifically to us for this service.

Infusions involve an appointment with one of our Endocrinologists on the day who will answer any questions, complete all necessary paperwork and then be on site for the duration of the infusion in case of any issues.  The infusion is done in our specialised infusion room by our Registered Nurse and involves an iv line, then the infusion runs over 15 minutes (in some cases longer infusion time is requested by the Doctor) and then you stay for 15 minutes to make sure you feel ok and then you can go home.  We recommend allowing up to 90 minutes for your appointment.

Infusion Costs:

$275 for patients who see our Endocrinologists with a Medicare rebate of $76

$325 for patients who are referred by a Doctor from other clinics (includes a longer appointment with our Endocrinologist on the day of the infusion).  Medicare rebate of $151.
