Endocrinologist (MBBS (Hons), BPharm (Hons), FRACP)
I value wholistic care and using evidence-based medicine to find the right solution for you
I am a Senior Medical Staff specialist in the Department of Endocrinology at Eastern Health where I manage patients in all areas of endocrinology.
Prior to endocrinology I worked as a pharmacist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, then completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Hons) at Monash University and was awarded the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Victorian State Committee Prize in Clinical Medicine. I completed Basic Physician Training at Alfred Health and Monash Health followed by Advanced Physician Training in Endocrinology at Alfred Health, Western Health, Peninsula Health and Eastern Health.
Currently I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Medicine, Monash University. I am undertaking the first prospective study in Australia to investigate the prevalence of primary aldosteronism (a hormonal cause for high blood pressure) in people presenting to hospital with stroke.
When not dodging flying objects thrown by one of my four sons, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and friends. I love gardening, baking, reading, camping and tennis.
