To book an Endocrinologist appointment:
When you have a referral from your GP or other Doctor you can get this sent to us from the Doctor or you can email it to us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
We will then contact you to book an appointment. Alternatively you can call us on 03 9725 3003 at a time that suits you.
Although the referral will be addressed to a specific Endocrinologist it can be used to see any Endocrinologist at our clinic so we can offer you appointments on your preferred day of the week and with different wait times depending on your preferred Endocrinologist.
All patients that are booked in to see an Endocrinologist will then have their referral triaged (looked at) by the Endocrinologist and if they think the wait time is too long for the chosen date they will offer alternatives which may include a different day/time with the same Doctor or a recommendation of another Endocrinologist at our clinic who can see you sooner.
Dr Shirley Elkassaby likes to triage (look at) your referral before booking an appointment to decide if the current wait time is suitable for your issue so sometimes there may be a wait of up to a week to get an appointment date confirmed for Dr Elkassaby.
Dr Miriam Bartlett is not currently accepting new patient referrals.
Costs:
New patient appointment costs vary depending on the duration of the appointment and range from $350 - $450 with a Medicare rebate of $151. You will get a quote for your appointment from reception when you book.
