The centre is conveniently located close to public transport and also has parking at both the front and the rear (with disabled parking and access at the rear). Being located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, it is suitable for both suburban and rural patients. Currently a number of Endocrinologists see patients at Mooroolbark Specialist Centre, as well as a Diabetes Nurse Educator.
The Doctors who see patients at Mooroolbark Specialist Centre have a variety of special interests including Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Thyroid Issues, Osteoporosis and more. We also offer services including 24 hour Blood Pressure monitoring and infusions of medications for Osteoporosis.
Bookings can be made by calling our friendly reception staff on 03 9725 3003 during business hours Monday to Friday. Please note that a GP referral is needed to make an appointment to see an Endocrinologist. A referral is not needed to see the Diabetes Educator, but a Diabetes Care Plan from your GP will give you a Medicare rebate for your Diabetes Education appointment.
